To be an effective communicator, one must be
skilled in the art of delivering and receiving messages. This
workshop focuses on understanding the complicated process of
communication, specifically in institutions where clear
communication is essential for good rapport. The objective of
the workshop is to develop and improve communication skills
amongst teachers, administrators, parents and students. In an
attempt to help participants understand and support colleagues
and develop awareness of audience, the workshop explores various
factors that affect the communication process.
Activities allow time to practice specific skills
in how to respond to criticism, listen reflectively, question
successfully and speak assertively.

This particular workshop, when combined with either, “Anger
Management: Coping with Conflict” or “Conflict Resolution:
Building the Bridges”, can extend to a full day workshop.
