This workshop, designed by substitute teachers especially for substitute teachers, addresses both simple and complex behaviour
management issues.
Topics visited in this “hands-on”
workshop include: how to identify the goals of misbehaviour;
proven effective management strategies; and ways to assist the
substitute in building personal coping strategies to use when
faced with difficult situations.
Active participation and interactive learning through
experimentation and reflection are essential elements of this
workshop.
